How to Bass Boost Spotify PC Windows 10

Some people prefer to listen to recorded music, so more expensive audio equipment claims that it does not affect the original audio signal. You can bass boost your Spotify PC in Windows 10. Others like to change their sound.

Whether you’re on a Mac or PC, there’s a way to set a global equalizer for everything you’re listening to, including iTunes, browsers, Spotify, Rdio, Pandora, and iHeartRadio.

System sounds are also affected. For audio editors, this is important information. This means that you no longer have to search for the missing EQ in most of these applications. The procedure depends on whether you are using a Mac or a computer.

Let’s start with a computer.

On a Windows PC

Unfortunately, all Windows computers are a little different, and whether or not they have an equalizer built-in depends on the audio driver.

This is what it looks like on my system, but if you don’t see it, check to see if your sound card offers a separate audio instrument with a separate driver or equalizer.

Many do so, you just need to check their manufacturer’s website.

  1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Sound.
  2. Double-click on the active audio device
  3. Click Extensions
  4. Check the equalizer box
  5. Select a preset

Some sound cards give you access to a graphical equalizer like those used by your Mac friends. With my pretty standard HP box, all I have to do is select a preset.

  • To see what it sounds like when you select them, check “Instant Mode” before you start testing the presets.
  • If I were you, I would also try that “custom” setting.
  • Nothing happens in my box, but I’ve seen evidence that it works on other Windows machines.
  • In any case, pressing the OK button will set the EQ settings worldwide for the entire computer.

On a Mac

  1. Here’s how to use Soundflower and AU Lab to control audio EQ around the world.
  2. Install Soundflower
  3. Install AU Lab
  4. Restart your mac
  5. Maximize the volume
  6. Cast your Mac to Soundflower
  7. Contribution to AU Lab from Soundflower
  8. Add equalization
  9. Customize it

Instead of using the pull-down button at the bottom left, you may want to switch to a 10-band EQ. If you drag the bass frequency slider up to increase the bass, you’ll get something like this:

The sound can be a little distorted, so instead of raising the bass, you can lower everything else to increase the volume. When you’re done, you can save it as a preset as follows:

  • Now all the sounds your computer produces will be leveled to your liking.
  • You can also use the volume keys to reach the upper and lower levels of your Mac’s volume, even if you performed.
  • Step 4. (If you skip it, you can go back and change it later.)

enjoy it!
